Over the past 2+ decades, we have achieved success on our journey to promote nature-based healthcare. We started operations in 1996 by growing and delivering fresh wheat grass to our customers. Over time, to ensure quality and continuity we adapted and diversified from fresh wheat grass to fine pulverised powder and capsules to our original offerings. We provide a range of Nutraceuticals in form of natural anti-oxidants, natural Iron and Calcium boosters, natural platelet-boosters, natural metabolism boosters in addition to unique Ayurvedic formulations of natural anti-inflammatory and pain relief medicine as well as for women’s health and nutrition. In addition to our nutritional supplements, we also have used our strong base of Ayurveda and Nature to develop distinctive Gel formulations for pain relief and skin rejuvenation that enhance looks boosts confidence and change lives for the better. We also have natural and Ayurvedic formulation based hair oils and shampoos for everyday use.

Our Story
Over its 24-year history Green Gold has made a name for itself as one of India’s most reliable suppliers of Ayurvedic supplements and herbal products.
Green Gold was founded by Mr. Prabhakar S. Pai and Mr. Rahul P. Pai who were inspired by the pioneering work of Dr. Ann Wigmore, an influential holistic health practitioner who advocated the power of raw food for health, vitality and fitness. Dr. Wigmore was an earnest proponent of ‘Wheat Grass Therapy’ – a concept that we wholeheartedly support! In keeping with this belief, we have produced and delivered fresh wheat grass to doorsteps all over the Mumbai City since our inception.
Through our work with children suffering from genetic disorders like Thalassemia, we have found that after administering wheat grass, they tend to show marked improvement in Hemoglobin levels. They also show a noticeable decrease in serum Ferritin accumulation in the spleen. This results in fewer needs of blood transfusions, which improves their quality and longevity of life.
We have worked in close co-operation with a number of health organisations to provide health relief with wheat grass. These include Cancer Patients Aid Association (Mumbai), Thalassaemic Association, Thalassaemia Children Welfare Society (Ulhasnagar) and We Care Trust (Andheri). We also work with patients from a number of hospitals in Mumbai, including KEM, Wadia, St. George, Red Cross and Nanavati..
Over time, we have developed strong associations with a number of respected luminaries from India’s medical fraternity. These include Dr. (Mrs) Rashmi M. Parchure, Ayurvedacharya from Mumbai University (practitioner of Sukshma Ayurved Paddhati and partner of Herbinn Micro Medicines, Mumbai), and Dr. Jalindar Deshmukh, Ayurvedacharya from Pune University (Managing Director of Saived Pharma Pvt. Ltd.,Pune). These experts help us in developing and manufacturing our various formulations.
Thousands of people from all walks of life have benefited from our life’s work. In addition to wheat grass-based products, we also have developed world-class products in the beauty and personal hygiene space. All these products contain wheat grass as the key ingredient.
